Valentine's Fiesta flyer

I designed and printed this flyer to promote a Mexican-themed Valentine's Day party I was hosting.

The design was composed and color-separated digitally, then the flyers were silkscreen-printed.

19th century wood type poster19th century wood type posters were the main inspiration for the flyer's design.

 

 

A Revolutionary's FarewellThe original artwork I used for the flyer's image was originally done by the Mexican popular graphic artist, Jose Posada (1852–1913, bio). Posada is best known for his calavera images, like the one below
